InttraSearch: how to

Why?

Up to one third of the work of professional linguists involves searching for terminology, but more than one-third of the time (38.6%) the top search engines completely disagree on the non-sponsored search results*.
With InttraSearch, get it right first time!

Inttrasearch is not designed to replace Google as a search engine for information. But if you are searching for information specific to translation as a field or industry, you will find InttraSearch to be of unique value.

How?

Using InttraSearch is as simple as doing an ordinary search in Google! To refine your search results Google advanced search operators work as well.

Main operators:

AND or + Search for all the terms
E.g.: « localisation AND company » or « localisation +company »
Note: « AND » must be in caps and there is no space after the « + »
OR or | Recherche de l'un ou l'autre des termes indiqués
E.g.: « translation OR interpretation » or « translation | interpretation »
Note: « OR » must be in caps and there is a space after the « | »
" " Search for an exact phrase
Ex: « "sign language" »
- Search excluding a term
E.g.: « translation tool -automatic »
Note: there is no space after the « - »
* The asterisk replaces unknown terms in the search query
E.g.: « *language »
~ Search for related terms
E.g.: « ~translation », the results will be « translation », « translator », « translate », etc.
.. Search in a date, price range, etc.
E.g.: « iraqi interpreter trial 2003..2008 »
